Easter.

Crucifixion and Resurrection? Marshmallow Peeps and TV Re-runs?  There’s a wide range of Easter camps to choose from. Since I’m currently avoiding chocolate, corn syrup, and religion,  I decided to come up with my own ritual. For me it’s about Spring. Its about growth, re-birth and new beginnings. Its about pink tulips bursting in my backyard, and birds flirting with each other. It’s about  gummy worm hunting expeditions with my dog. Its about being being alive.

For me it’s the decadence of this local Southern Oregon belly dancing troupe, Circus Tribal. Their gorgeous performance perfectly exemplifies my current state of mind. Now go eat some chocolate and embrace your passion!
